As part of ongoing efforts to raise health awareness among staff, the Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) organized an awareness event on breast cancer prevention, in collaboration with Hicare Medical Center. The event took place at the company’s headquarters in Al-Hidd and saw active participation from ASRY’s female employees.

The program featured an awareness lecture delivered by a specialist medical team on the importance of early screening, ways to lower risk, and how to carry out self-examination. The team also clarified common misconceptions about the disease. Free on-site checks were offered with the visiting clinicians to encourage early testing, which can limit spread, lift recovery rates, and improve quality of life.

A small accompanying exhibition was also organized, with several pharmacies from across the Kingdom that provided participants with health and beauty items.
